Michael J. Fleischer, a second-generation insurance professional, has been in the insurance industry for over thirty-nine years. Throughout his career, Michael has worked in many facets of the insurance industry, Wholesale, Retail, MGA, and Carrier. He is currently the Owner of Flexible Agency, Inc, which was previously owned by his father, Bernard Fleischer. The agency is a niche wholesaler with a reputation of being extremely knowledgeable of the products that they sell and utilizing a creative approach to write complicated accounts.
Prior to restarting Flexible Agency, Inc. in 2003, Michael Fleischer ran a successful Wholesale and Excess & Surplus Lines brokerage for nearly twelve (12) years, which he sold 1999 to dedicate his energies to start a Managing General Agency with Peter Demetriou. The MGA did not come to fruition due to the market changes after 9/11/01. After the Death of Mr. Demetriou, Michael restarted Flexible Agency, Inc. utilizing his entrepreneurial spirit, extensive industry contacts, and market knowledge. Mike being part of the respected Fleischer family insurance dynasty, tapped into his networks, friendships, and relationships that, in many cases go back decades and created a boutique General Agency with a reputation for product knowledge and being able to make difficult placements due to his creativity and expertise.
